Will my employer accept this certificate? +
Yes. Our certificates meet the knowledge training requirements of OSHA, ANSI, and CSA standards. Your employer must also complete a practical (hands-on) evaluation — which is always performed by the employer regardless of which training provider you use.
Is this the same as an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card? +
No. This is an equipment-specific operator certification (MEWP, forklift, etc.), not the OSHA Outreach 10-hour or 30-hour program. Both serve different purposes — this cert is specifically required for operating the equipment.
How long does it take to complete? +
The MEWP and forklift courses take approximately 60–90 minutes. You can pause and resume at any time — your progress is saved automatically.
What if I fail the final quiz? +
No problem. Unlimited retakes are included at no extra charge. You can review the course material and retake the quiz as many times as needed.
Is this available in Spanish? +
Yes. All current courses are available in both English and Spanish. Additional languages including Portuguese, Polish, and Vietnamese are coming soon.
How long is the certification valid? +
3 years from the date of completion. You'll receive an email reminder before your certification expires so you can renew without any lapse in compliance.
Can I get a certificate for my whole crew? +
Yes — our 10-pack saves $91 vs individual pricing, and our Corporate plan ($499/year) covers unlimited employees across all courses. Contact us for bulk orders over 50 employees.
Is NSI a government agency? +
No. National Safety Institute is a private safety training provider. Our courses are developed in alignment with official OSHA, ANSI, and CSA standards, but we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
